The Carriage Clock

Our latest project is a clock. We sourced a vintage Jaeger leCoultre dashboard clock and built a wooden housing to convert this into a carriage clock for display in the home. It is finished in dark blue bridle leather with white linen stitching.

We have thus far managed to somehow avoid horological projects, despite myriad ideas. This particular project gave us the opportunity for our first, and we’re exceptionally happy with the result. We spent considerable time finding a suitable donor clock, and selected a dark blue bridle leather to match the client’s interior aesthetic.
